Ban Don Hotel at 268/1 Thanon Namuang
Had taken the train from Malaysia during the day and missed the last ferry to Koh Phangan. Sawngthaew driver knew of a hotel we could stay at and take the boat in the morning. Don't know if the ferry was deliberately 'missed' to get a group of us to stay at the hotel but was actually quite nice. Very clean large double room with fan and cold water shower for 300 Baht. Only issue was that the beds were the hardest we've ever slept on, felt like a board covered with a sheet but otherwise a good option.
