Elephant Backpackers. Right in City Center opposite Flinders Street Station.
Rooms are in a converted building with partitions that don't go up to the ceiling so even though you have a private room, you can hear everyone else. Had double room with lockers for $50. Manager was friendly and helpful. Kitchen and bathrooms were dirty though. Most people staying are working rather than travelling backpackers. Dump!
