Barbados, St. Lawrence Gap

Stayed at Rostrevor Apartments.
Great standard pool deck studio. Had big double room with kitchenette, cable TV and fan for summer rate of US$55 / night plus 7.5% tax. We initially booked for 5 nights and landed up staying for 10. We asked for and received a 10% discount for the nights we extended.
They have a range of accommodation and have some newer apartments that have recently been renovated but for more money. Our studio was basic but right next to the pool and perfect.
There is a small beach right at the hotel but if you head onto the road and turn right, you can walk through the parking lot of a run down apartment block and get to bigger Dover Beach which is beautiful.
There´s a convenience store near the hotel and two larger supermarkets about 15 minutes walk. The front desk staff were helpful.
