Overland to Nepal

4x4 trip across some very barren land.

Gyantse - can't remember hotel name. Four bed dorm with no shower.

Sakya - brand new hotel, huge dorm room with 7 beds and luxury bathroom. Freezing cold though but good bedding. Restaurant is dirty and freezing but food is good.

Everest Base Camp - dormitary room in hostel across the road from monastry. Cheap beds but filthy rooms. Need all your clohes and water bottles as it's freezing (you're above 5000m)and some bedroom windows are broken. Must have a sleeping bag and something to cover the pillow(yuck). Cozy sitting room with good food. Don't go near the loos (disguting hole in the ground) for your health but you have the great outdoors with awesome views of Everest.

Tingri - Amdo accommodation. Very basic 2 bed room. Also need sleeping bags as it's dirty and cold. Squat loo outside (yum)
