Hotel Shahi Palace

Great hotel just outside the fort with excellent view of the fort from the rooftop restaurant.
4 extremely friendly brothers run the place. They say you arrive as tourists and leave as friends which is true. Ask Papu to do his European language imitations!
The rooms were clean, with stone walls, good bathrooms and great decor.
The best room in the place has a carved stone bed. We had another room for 450 a night.
They organise a camel safari which was great. They own the camels so it's all in house. It's more pricey than some of the other offerings but we didn't see another Westerner during the whole time. Many others do a tourist route that is very busy.
