Stayed one night at Posada Las Casas

Friendly place with lots of character but about a 10 minute walk into town.
Had small but cosy, clean and quaint double room with local TV and bathroom for US$20.
Then decided to move to La Media Luna.
Ave Hermanos Dominguez off Insurgentes.
They gave us a flier at the bus station when we arrived.
A bit closer to town and had big double room with cable TV and bathroom for US$25. We stayed in San Cristobal for a few days and so wanted somewhere nice to relax for a few days - this was perfect.
