Chile, Vina del Mar

We decided to stay at Vina del Mar rather than Valparaiso as it seemed easier to walk around and more interesting and Valparaiso is only a bus, taxi or train away.
First stayed at Residencial Ona Berri. Had huge double room with attached bathroom and cable TV for 20,000 pesos.
Breakfast was included. Bit of a funny place though. Seems as though it was an old age home. You didn't get a key and had to buzz the door and wait for someone to let you in which often took some time. Was very central though.

Then moved to Hotel Quinta Vergara right next to the park of the same name which was really nice and friendly and you didn't need grey hair to stay. Had smaller room with TV and bathroom for 16,500 pesos. Very friendly staff and good breakfast.
